The main characters of idiots actually existed before the show, but since I was putting them all in one cartoon I had to make a few changes.

Jives (originally created by @jengartionuson) didn't undergo too many changes other than his personality being slightly altered. He was originally more sarcastic and aware of things, but I though to myself "hey, wouldn't it be funny if he was innocent and naive? Subverting expectations is a big part of comedy after all." Jives (the person) calls his original version of Jives Classic Jives, he also changed Classic Jives' personality to be more similar to the version of Jives seen in Idiots. There's also a Modern Jives that he created (it won't be used in idiots) and he's kinda like what Classic Jives was originally supposed to be, the only difference is that he has clothes now.

Dyngle (originally created by @ThatGuyYouKnowIsHere) underwent the most changes in my opinion, in SG (@ThatGuyYouKnowIsHere's lore universe thing) dyngle was really powerful and could do alot of stuff like shapeshift. Dyngle can still shapeshift in Idiots but it isn't nearly as OP, he also isn't as strong because I want there to be conflict in the story. Oh yeah, his eyes were originally smaller in the SG canon but I drew them bigger than they were supposed to be and it just kinda stuck.

Now for FunSubs (originally created by me of course) I won't be talking about his design, just his personality. Funsubs started out as how I drew myself and then just got put into

Idiots. FunSubs likes guns alot. No, this isn't me ripping off Tord from Eddsworld, I just like guns alot so I made the character like guns alot (the glock is my favorite handgun lol). He has a bit of a friendly rivalry with Dyngle sometimes, most of the time they're chill though. Him and Jives don't always agree on things but they can tolerate each other's existence. Not much else to say really.

My friend told me that his favorite character is FunSubs and his headcanon is that FunSubs is Dominican and Puerto Rican and that he speaks Spanish and plays dominoes, not a very interesting headcanon but whatever.

His other headcanon is uhh... strange to say the least. It's that Jives pisses rainbows. Like I said, strange. But oh well, it's good to know that idiots viewers have opinions on the characters.

Edit: he added more to his funsubs headcanon, he says that funsubs eats plantains and dances a bachata.
